The MFI5-48 is an autonomous tether-free device that utilizes the magnetic flux leakage system (MFL) non-destructive evaluation technique to inspect furnace pipes down to 5 inches inner diameter (ID). It is capable of detecting defects such as corrosion, pitting and wall thinning. Its geometrical features enable it to traverse one-diameter bends of 90° and 180°, and support up to ±10% of ID variation
The ECTI32 is an external carbon steel coiled tubing inspection tool. It utilizes the magnetic flux leakage (MFL) non-destructive evaluation (NDE) technique. The tool detects pipe defects and measures pipe wall thickness and ovality along the entire length of the string. It can be deployed in a test yard or in off-shore locations for real time inspections as a coiled tubing string is being fed into or out of a well.
The piggable coil tubing inspection tool (PCTI) utilizes the MFL non-destructive technique for on-the-reel, in-yard inspection of coil tubing with 2.5-inch ID. It is capable of detecting defects such as corrosion, pitting and wall thinning. The PCTI2.5 can accommodate 10% of ID variation allowing for support of tapered strings.
